1305 A.D. - Being descended from great,
though disgraced family, can be a greater curse than most. As a direct descendent of Simon de Montfort, Lady Gray de Montfort
Serroux has lived her life with the axe of shame hanging over her head. Because of this, her marriage matches were limited
and she wed a dishonorable man who widowed her when he was murdered in a gambling game. Left with a young daughter
to support, Gray and her daughter and her mother have been living in poverty. But now her daughter is approaching marriageable
age and Gray’s conniving, haughty mother plots to marry the girl to the first wealthy man who offers for her hand.
Meanwhile, an army of mercenaries seeks shelter at Gray’s crumbling castle. Their leader, Sir Braxton de Nerra, is a
knight bannerette. Not sworn to a single liege, he travels with his mercenaries and has accumulated a good deal of wealth
fighting other people's battles. Taken with the beautiful Lady Gray even as the lady’s mother tries to force the
granddaughter upon him, Braxton finds himself drawn into the desperate life they lead at the Castle Erith. As Braxton
and Gray fall in love, Gray's mother, the evil Constance, continues to wreak havoc, now aimed at the man who so desperately
loves her daughter. Braxton realizes that he must fight back against the woman for what he knows is right and just, and an
bizarre battle ensues between the two. Constance is finally exiled from Erith for her treachery but not before she has
committed one final act of betrayal; because of Constance's lies, the mighty earldom of Gloucester is now angry with Braxton
and focuses its war machine on the mighty mercenary. Braxton fights for his new home, his new family, and is finally
forced into the ultimate act of self-sacrifice to save those he loves.

Read what Kathryn Le Veque fan Valery
Miles has to say about "Lady of Heaven": "...
I found your website and decided to download Lady of Heaven because it sounded interesting. All I can say is that its
one of the best books I've ever read. I couldn't put it down and read it all in one night. Then I read it again the next day.
Fox Henredon is to die for and the whole book just made the adventure come alive. Your a great author!"
Thanks, Valery!!

I wrote a little teaser about this last month but now it's finally here. Honestly, it took
me seven weeks to write this novel. I couldn't type fast enough to get the words down on the page, it was all coming
so quickly to me. It is, quite possibly, the best novel I've ever written and I know you're going to love it. I just
adore these characters. So enough praise - here's the scoop: "Lady of Heaven" stars Dr. Fox Henredon, a British
Egyptologist and museum curator, and Morgan Sherburn, a cop from Los Angeles who, while cleaning out her family's manor after
the death of her great-grandfather, stumbles across her great-grandmother's journal from her trip to Egypt back in the 1920's.
Morgan has been told that her great-grandmother died in Egypt of a fever but she comes to discover through the journal
that her great-grandmother may have been murdered because of a mysterious papyrus that is still in the family's possession.
She enlists Dr. Henredon to help her figure out the mystery, but when those two come together, the sparks fly. They
fall in love faster than any characters I've ever written about. Morgan is determined to go to Egypt to track the clues of
the "Lady of Heaven" papyrus, an ancient document alluding to the tomb of the goddess Isis, and Fox goes with her.
Together, they have some of the wildest adventures ever - I don't want to give the plot away but suffice it to say that this
story has more twists and turns than a windy mountain road. Old legends become truth, friends turn out to be enemies, and
in the middle of it, Morgan discovers the truth about her great-grandmother that she could have never imagined.
Even though this is an adventure novel, the romance is the strongest aspect of it. The recurring theme is the dedication
of family and of true love. Read "Lady of Heaven" and understand what I mean. It will be available as a free
download for about a week, so give it a whirl. I promise it will blow you away!!

1264 A.D. -
Davyss de Winter is the champion for King Henry III, a powerful
and arrogant man that descends from a long line of powerful knights. He is also a much-sought after man and has had more than
his share of female admirers, including a besotted baron's daughter who bore him bastard twins. His mother and family matriarch,
the Lady Katharine de Warrenne de Winter, loses patience with her son's behavior and betrothes him to a woman she hopes will
tame his wild ways. She selects a young woman from a lesser noble family with no political ties or ambitions,
a perfect match for her son's prideful personality. Enter the Lady Devereux d'Arcy Allington; a young woman of astounding
beauty, she wants nothing to do with Davyss. When Davyss, in protest of the marriage, sends his sword Lespada to
the marriage ceremony, Devereux is beyond offended. Livid, she battles tooth and nail, refusing to marry a sword by proxy,
until Lady Katharine intervenes. Cornered, Devereux is forced to marry Lespada because her groom refuses to
show up for the ceremony. When Davyss gives in to his curiosity and meets his wife for the first time, he is overwhelmed
with her beauty. Roughly consummating the marriage, he has set the tone for what both Davyss and Devereux believe will
be a loveless, hateful marriage. But when Davyss begins to realize what he's done, he swallows his considerable pride
and is determined to get to know the woman he married, a woman of grace and compassion like nothing he has ever known before.
It doesn't take long for Davyss to fall madly in love with her and she with him. Devereux helps him understand that
devotion to one woman is more fulfilling that devotion to many, and through skirmishes, betrayal, wars and miscarriages, Davyss
and Devereux's bond only strengthens. When Davyss is involved in the Battle of Evesham against Simon de Montfort, Devereux
faces her own life and death situation. Davyss must make it to her side before her life slips away... praying to God
to spare the life of the one good thing, the very best thing, that has ever happened to him. Lespada is a love
story for the ages.
