EPIC ROMANCES
Ah, the Epics...!
And by that I mean that they were all indeed Epics. Written in the early to mid 90's when I was getting my feel
for writing, some of these babies are over a thousand pages long. 'The Wolf' was the first, 'The Lion Heart'
the second and by far better, but 'The Dark Knight' was longer still and, to this day, considered my very best work.
It was quite a shock to me when I submitted 'The Dark Knight' to an agent and was told that most novels - unless you're
J.K. Rowling - are around 400 pages, or 100,000 words to be marketable. It was suggested I cut these novels down but
I don't have the heart to; they are written to be long and detailed, like a modern-day Ben Hur or War and Peace.
And they are wonderful. So they sit and wait for the day when I am famous and a publisher will gladly publish a 1200
page novel . I will posting synopsis on these soon, so check back and see just how beautifully contrived they really are.
I am most proud of these.
"The Legend" and "The Crusader" are probably the
shortest of the group and are available for purchase on the "Paperbacks" page. Want to read a fabulous Time
Travel novel? Pick up "The Crusader". It's am amazing, magical love story with a crazy twist. It makes great
reading! Please note that the Epics are not yet available to to the public but hopefully will soon be. Keep checking
back!

Sir William de Wolfe is captain of the guard at Northwood Castle in Northumbria.
He is known as "The Wolf" throughout the borders, a man of fierce fighting and cunning tactics. During a particularly
brutal battle, William is gravely wounded and manages to get off the battlefield to hide. When the battle is over and
the Scots women begin to wander the battlefield to collect booty off the dead soldiers, a young Scots lass happens across
him and instead of killing him, she saves his life. Turns out that the Lady Jordan Scott is the daughter of
a major border baron who has done much battle against The Wolf only neither of them know it at the time. Only when a
marriage treaty is proposed months later and William, now recovered, is sent to retrieve the bride for his lord do they discover
each other's identities. After that, it's drama, intrigue and forbidden love at its best.
